August John is an Ottawa based songwriter / artist. His genre "Summer Themed Indie Rock" is influenced by mid 2010’s indie rock, indie pop, lo fi, and psychedelic rock. August John aims to capture forward storytelling and atmospheric worlds in his music. 

Described as sounding similar to Boy Pablo, Tame Impala, and Ginger root - August John is the artist name created by Jonathan Quach, a songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. 

He began writing songs and recording demos at age 15. Now, he is involved in the underground indie rock music scene in Ottawa, Ontario where he performs with his band, continuing to release music online.
